These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, landing pages, forms, and services provided by My Detail Guys and Upholstery LLC, doing business as “My Detail Guys” and “My Upholstery Guys” (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting our website, booking services, communicating with us, or opting into our text messaging program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites or services.


1. Eligibility & Use of Our Services

You may use our websites and services only if:

You are at least 18 years old, or

You are using our services under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to use our websites and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.


2. Services We Provide

My Detail Guys and Upholstery LLC provides:

Auto detailing services (including but not limited to interior, exterior, and specialty detailing).

Ceramic coating and related protection services.

Upholstery repair, restoration, and related services for vehicles, furniture, and other items.

Mobile and in-shop services, as available in your area.

The specific services, pricing, and availability may vary by location and are subject to change at any time.


3. Appointments, Quotes & Cancellations

a. Quotes & Estimates

Any quote or estimate we provide is based on the information you share, visual inspection (where applicable), and our professional judgment. Quotes are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing or via our booking system and may be adjusted if the actual condition or scope of work differs from what was initially described.

b. Booking Appointments

When you book an appointment through our website, forms, phone, text, or in person:

You agree to provide accurate contact information and service details.

You acknowledge that appointment times are subject to confirmation and may be adjusted by us.

We may require a deposit or prepayment for certain services, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

c. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We reserve the right to set and enforce cancellation and rescheduling policies (including any fees). These policies may vary by service type and will be communicated at booking or in your confirmation messages.

We may cancel or reschedule an appointment due to weather, safety concerns, staffing, or other operational reasons. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and reschedule.


4. Payments

Payment terms (including accepted payment methods, due dates, and any deposits or late fees) will be stated in your quote, invoice, or booking confirmation.

You agree to pay all charges incurred in connection with services we perform for you.

Some payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. In such cases, their terms and privacy policies will also apply.

We reserve the right to refuse service or withhold completion of work if payment is not made as agreed.


5. Condition of Vehicles & Items

You are responsible for:

Removing personal items from your vehicle or furniture before service.

Informing us of any pre-existing damage, sensitive materials, or special conditions.

We are not responsible for:

Loss of personal items left in vehicles or items we service.

Pre-existing damage or issues that are revealed during cleaning or repair.

Damage resulting from undisclosed conditions (e.g., prior poor repairs, rust, structural issues, or aftermarket modifications).

We will use reasonable care in performing services, but results may vary depending on the condition of the surfaces, prior damage, and other factors outside our control.


6. No Guarantees of Specific Outcomes

While we strive for high-quality results, we do not guarantee:

A particular level of restoration or “like new” condition.

Removal of every stain, defect, scratch, or odor.

That future wear, damage, or environmental exposure won’t affect the treated surfaces.

Any “guarantees” or warranties we offer will be explicitly stated in writing and may be limited to certain products or services.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on our websites and in our marketing materials—including text, logos, graphics, images, videos, and layouts—is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.


8. SMS / Text Messaging Terms (A2P Program)

We offer one or more text messaging (SMS) programs related to our services. By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you agree to the terms in this section.

a. Types of Messages You May Receive

By opting in, you may receive:

Transactional Messages

Appointment confirmations and reminders

Schedule changes, service updates, and follow-up messages

Review requests and customer satisfaction surveys

Marketing Messages (if you consent to marketing SMS)

Promotions, special offers, and discounts

Updates about new services or seasonal packages

Occasional reminders or announcements

We may run separate campaigns or message types within our messaging program. Message frequency will vary based on your interactions and the services you use.

b. How You Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:

Submitting your phone number on our website or forms and agreeing to receive text messages.

Texting a designated keyword to our phone number (if applicable).

Providing your mobile number by phone or in person and verbally consenting to receive SMS communications.

Message and data rates may apply to any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility.

e. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by:

Replying STOP to any SMS message you receive from us.

After you send STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message, and then you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program (except as required or permitted by law, such as important service or safety notices, where applicable).

If you have opted in to multiple message types or programs, you may need to opt out separately from each.

g. Supported Carriers & Carrier Disclaimer

Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

h. Mobile Data Privacy & Non-Sharing

Our handling of mobile and SMS data is described in our Privacy Policy. In particular:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for:

The content or accuracy of third-party websites.

The privacy practices or terms of those third parties.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our websites and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim (if any), or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability; in such cases, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Detail Guys and Upholstery LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of our websites or services;

Your breach of these Terms; or

Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.


13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of our websites or services after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
