Our Story - From Passion to Profession
2009: The Beginning
My Detail Guys was founded by Milton Lugo in 2009 with a simple mission: provide Fort Worth with honest, high-quality auto detailing that respects both vehicles and customers. Starting with a single mobile unit and a commitment to excellence, we built our reputation one satisfied customer at a time.
2010-2017: Growth & Expansion
As word spread about our work, demand grew. We expanded our mobile fleet, invested in professional-grade equipment, and added ceramic coating services. Our customer base grew from individual car owners to include small businesses, dealerships, and fleet accounts.
2018-2020: Innovation & Expertise
We stayed ahead of industry advancements—adding paint correction services, advanced ceramic coatings, and eco-friendly product options. Our team expanded with the addition of a new partner, Tony, who brings extensive expertise in the upholstery industry which is what led to the creation of our sister company, My Upholstery Guys.
2021-Present: Fort Worth's Detailing Leader
Today, My Detail Guys serves 15+ communities across the Fort Worth metro with both mobile and shop services. We've detailed tens of thousands of vehicles, from everyday sedans to exotic sports cars, and our commitment to quality has never wavered.

Milton Lugo: Founder & CEO
As the visionary behind My Detail Guys, Milton Lugo holds the esteemed position of Founder & CEO. He is a dedicated member of the International Detailing Association (IDA) and has completed training at the prestigious Flight Shield Automotive and Marine School, where he was honored with the Certified Applicator of Flight Shield products certificate. Additionally, Milton is a certified Professional Aircraft Detailer, recognized by Recon Techs Boston.

Co-owned by Tony H., My Detail Guys & Upholstery, LLC has established itself as a trusted name in the automotive industry, backed by Tony's extensive 35-year experience in the field. Our team, led by founder & CEO Milton Lugo recognized and brought in an invaluable partner in the detail shop, Tony, which also led to the creation of My Upholstery Guys, Fort Worth's premier upholstery repair destination.

Recon Techs Certified
In 2016 our technicians completed extensive training for aircraft detailing. Recon Techs is an advanced School to train experienced detailers the craft that is needed in order to detail aircraft marine and automotive taking detailing to the highest possible level of expertise.
